22nd October 2026. - Notice from our technical team.
We would like to confirm that PHP has released a security update to address the recently identified vulnerability. Our teams have now applied the patch across all our servers.
The update covers all PHP versions, so websites hosted on our infrastructure are protected against this vulnerability regardless of the PHP version they are currently running.
More information can be seen here: https://status.stablepoint.com/incident/3174 (Stablepoint manage our servers for us.)
N.B. they note that they have patched versions of php 5.2 up to the current php 8.5 The oldest php we have running sits within that range, so all servers will be patched.
If we look after a website of yours where you host it elsewhere, you will need to confirm with your hosting company that they have also made these changes.
Until that is confirmed you need to consider that there may be vulnerabilities to your website which could allow unintended access to any database information you have on the system.
